COMMUNITY starts here

OUR Community

It's time to build COMMUNITY! Why, because 'no man is an island' and because it's another piece of the produce model that we would like to give to you.
What is COMMUNITY? It's about sharing, sharing our produce and our reasons for doing what we do and why we do it. It's about hearing your stories, why you choose our produce, what you do in your day to day lives and how we can help each other strive for bigger and better things.
We have a couple items in this newsletter about building COMMUNITY, but the simplest for all of us might be to just come and say 'Hi' when you're next at our market stall, tell us about yourselves and ask us any questions you may have. If you can't make it to the market, drop us a line on facebook or even a short email, we'd love the chance to connect with you.

Gardening Tip

Super simple 'compost tea'

If you have any vege scraps in the kitchen that you'll be putting in the compost later, drop them in a container full of water overnight. The scraps will release a small amount of minerals and nutrients overnight and give you a liquid that is 'better than water' while not quite being compost tea. You can then water your plants with this 'super water' and still put the vege remains on the compost pile.

PS. If you have a great Gardening Tip why not send it through to us and we'll give you 2 minutes of fame when it's posted in the newsletter!
